Agility Classes with Courtney Huther
Dog training has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been involved in dog sports for many years. I apprenticed at St. Hubert’s in group and behavior classes before deciding to devote my career to instructing. As an avid agility competitor, I am out trialing and coaching most weekends!
I currently live with three Aussies. We hold 55 Agility Trial Championships in AKC, ASCA and CPE as well as High in Trials on each of my dogs.
My passion is AGILITY but I also compete in obedience, rally, conformation, disc and dock-diving. My dogs have been nationally ranked in Agility, Rally and Obedience. My Australian Shepherd Pyro was ranked number 1 in the country for AKC Agility multiple years and we have been invited in 2017, 2018, 2019 2020, 2021 and 2022 to AKC Agility Invitational. Torch was ranked #4 in 2019 and #2 in 2020 and Top Preferred dog for 2021 for AKC Agility Invitational. Fuel was #4 for as just a 2yr old and invited to his first Invitational in 2021
and invited back in 2022.
I am familiar with a variety of handling styles and approach teaching based on what is best for the dog/handler team. I graduated from IAABC for Animal Behavior program and am working on my certification. I enjoy using my knowledge to help teams in this area as well. and invited back in 2022.
I believe success starts with relationship and solid foundations…. hard work pays off!

We will be adding a regulation size (22ft x 47ft) DOCK DIVING POOL to our location and have been accepted as an IDS recognized facility! 🙌🏻💦🐶
The pool will arrive the first week of August, and will offer monthly memberships, rentals, dog conditioning and therapy, additions to our boarding/board and train programs, monthly seminars, and hopefully, host events! 🙏🏻❤️🔥🌊
Thank you for our collaboration with EZ Pools who made this all possible along with their excellent customer service! We are excited about this new venture, and hope to have TONS of fun swimming and jumping the dogs! 🤩🤩🤩
The Northern Border K9 Athlete Center is, well, EVERYTHING dog! Agility, Obedience, Schutzhund, Working K9’s, Dock Diving, Canine Conditioning and Therapy, Building Rentals, Boarding, Board/Trains, Private Classes, Group Classes, and ALL types of trials and events!
